Executive Members

Chidinma Oli

Co-Founder

Chief Executive Director

Chidinma is a public health professional with over 3 years’ experience in population health studies. Her previous research focuses on resolving key gaps in epidemiology, maternal and child health and fertility care to provide insights that will boost population health outcomes.

 

She is also keen on evaluating health interventions, evidence synthesis, studying patterns, causes, and impacts of diseases in populations, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, and project disease trajectories.

 

She earned her Master’s in Public Health at the University of York, United Kingdom. In 2022, she was nominated for an honourable mention award for the 2022 MAXQDA Research for change grant. She is also a member of the Fertility Care for All Global Team, and works as a Research Associate in Helpman Development Institute where she leads research on emerging public health issues in Nigeria.

 

She is the Co-founder and Executive Director of Inspire Her Afrika mentorship programme.

Ojonugwa Abubakar

Co-Founder

Programme Coordinator

Ojonugwa is a bioinformatician and a One Health scientist with a background in microbiology. She is an alumna of the prestigious commonwealth shared scholarship. She currently analyses genomic data from national and global pathogen surveillance systems to provide insights into the evolution and spread of WHO-priority pathogens. She also serves as a training officer on the national committee of the UK model WHO where she contributes to equipping young professions with the skills required to pursue a career in Global health.

 

She is passionate about youth empowerment, especially of females, through education. She is the grants manager at the Building Nations Initiative and has served as the Vice principal and facilitator to GRAMS and LifePAD, which are programmes targeted at equipping young graduates and teenagers respectively. She is also a Community Leader at ONE UK where she advocates for social justice. Finally, she is the cofounder and programme coordinator of the Inspire her Afrika mentorship programme.

Omobolanle Onilogbo

Engagement Officer

Omobolanle is a development communications specialist. She started her communications career in 2015 and has worked in the development sector for several years with projects in the areas of Gender empowerment, Governance, Public health, Migration, and Agriculture. She has gathered a wealth of experience in digital and traditional media strategies and has executed online & offline media campaigns.

 

She has worked as the Communications Officer for Danish Refugee Council in Nigeria. Throughout her experience in the development sector, she has worked with donors and international organizations such as Malala Fund, Osiwa, International Organization for Migration, Federal Ministry of Labor and Employment, Palladium, and Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, among others.

 

She holds a BSc. Degree in International Law and Diplomacy from Babcock University, and is currently pursuing an MA in Global Media and Digital Cultures in the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She has gained several certificates in storytelling for change, communication in a virtual age, marketing communications, etc.

Oluwadamilola Oladipupo​

Product Designer

Aurora, as she prefers to be called is a designer (Ul/UX] with background in customer service representation. She is a graduate of microbiology from the university of Ibadan. She has always been into the creative space, she owns a business where she sells fashion accessories and also currently works as a UI/UX Designer as a freelancer. Her interest includes but not limited to anything involving creativity. She is an avid reader and you could always find her talking about books.

Marvelous Adekanmi

Content Creator

Marvelous is passionate about media, communications and education. Over the years, she has worked and volunteered with brands as a content writer social media manager and researcher, contributing to achieving the mission of the organizations and propelling her career growth as a communications expert.

 

In five years from now, She desire to be a communications specialist, contributing her creative writing and storytelling telling skills to further the mission of brands and organizations. 

Jane Bako

Communications Manager

Jane Asana Bako is a communication and social media expert with three years of experience in the field. She has successfully managed over 14 social media accounts, delivering outstanding results. Jane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Kogi State University and plans to pursue her Master’s degree soon.

 

She is passionate about engaging with audiences through social media, leveraging her skills to benefit the organizations she works with. In her free time, Jane enjoys designing dresses and watching movies. Currently, she is focused on building a career in digital marketing and mastering the art of social media management.

Precious Chukwudi

Assistant Communications Manager

I’m Chukwudi Precious, with a background in communication and program support. My recent work involves data cleaning and analysis, as well as managing LinkedIn and Twitter accounts. I’m skilled in graphic design, Excel, Power BI, and content writing. Outside of work, I enjoy watching anime.

Oreoluwa Richard-Ogunyale

Administrative and Technical Officer

Oreoluwa Richard-Ogunyale holds a degree in Microbiology from the prestigious University of Ibadan. She has a dynamic blend of skills spanning both the administrative and IT realms.

 

She is a budding professional in the tech industry, having worked as a software engineer at Guaranty Trust Bank in Lagos, Nigeria and holds a diploma in Frontend Engineering from AltSchool Africa.

 

With a strong commitment to community service, Oreoluwa has volunteered with various organisations, including the Rotaract Club(University of Ibadan), Volunteers Hub Africa, Lagos Food Bank and currently volunteers with Inspire Her Afrika as an Administrative and Technical Officer.

 

Additionally, She is the leading lady of “Becoming the Versatile Woman,” a Christian women’s group dedicated to personal growth and empowerment. She believes in excellence and intentionality.

Chidinma Okoli

Grants Manager

Chidimma Okoli earned her B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Covenant University and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she is currently a second-year doctoral student in the Epidemiology program. She is passionate about women’s and children’s health, chronic disease management, and health equity. She has over four years of research and teaching experience in these areas.

 

Outside her academic and professional pursuits, Chidimma enjoys volunteering, spending time with family and friends, and exploring different restaurants and recipes. 

Confidence Jonathan

Grants Manager and Partnership Cordinator

Confidence is a lawyer, certified arbitrator, and founder RAJ Foundation. She is passionate about helping poor and vulnerable girls by providing access to basic education, economic resources, and mentorship.

Ogechi Nwachukwu

Assistant Administrative Officer

Ogechi is a first-class Biomedical Sciences graduate with a sincere desire of making a difference in healthcare. She is currently on a mission to further her education and expertise in BMS.
